Welcome to the future home of A Siren's Wedding. Please excuse my dust as I am setting up and getting things ready. First, let me tell you all a little about what this blog is about.
I am currently planning and coordinating my wedding which is a bit non-traditional. Okay, maybe a lot. I am not what you would call a modern traditionalist. I love things that are different and offbeat. In an effort to save money, I am handmaking the majority of my wedding items. I have found that in this process, I have a joy of planning and making these amazing dreams a reality. I have even been toying with the idea of going into the wedding planning business as this is just such a huge passion. Now don't get me wrong, I love the ideas of the traditional allure of weddings and all the girly things that go with it. I had that dream the first time around and decided to have a little fun and go with my style for my vow renewal.
I know so many people who stress out over the idea of planning this one extravagant day that they forget to take time out for themselves. So that brings me to the point of this blog. Not only will you follow my ventures into the planning of my own wedding but I will be posting tips and tricks to help every other bride out there.
